It differs from green and other tea types in the way it is made, having gone through a process of full oxidation. This gives it a more malty or rich and sweet flavour that some, particularly the British, love to enjoy with added milk. Generally Kenyan teas are very colourful, with a reddish coppery tint and a pleasantly strong flavour. We buy some superb quality teas from Kenya that are blended together with teas of other origins to produce consistently delicious brews.

This Ahmad Tea exclusive blend and best seller is a tea for all occasions and any accompaniments. More fragrant than an English Breakfast blend with less bergamot than an Earl Grey blend, this is both satisfyingly smooth and subtly fragrant. A winning combination we’re sure you’ll agree. Very drinkable with or without milk and very nice for tea and English biscuits.
Earl Gray
All the fragrance and flavor, but less of the caffeine than regular Earl Grey makes this blend the best, all round, enjoyable tea. Try it with cakes at teatime with or without a slice of lemon.
